Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm
Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm is a greenhouse on a farm overlooking the Pacific ocean. 360 degrees of natural beauty, completely transformed into an ethereal event space under the stars. Britney and Aviv wanted their wedding design to bring the greenhouse alive in an elegant and organic way. To do that, they brought in my sweet friend Debby, owner of Amber Events, to enhance the underlying beauty. Amy of Bright Florals is one of my FAVE Santa Barbara florists and she’s the one who created the gorg centerpieces.
The wedding day itself happened on a beautiful gloomy day, which allowed us to use so many backdrops of the beautiful farm. Then magically at golden hour, the sun came out and we caught the glow by the cliffside. WEDDING MAGIC!
Britney + Aviv
I adore these two. From beginning to end, they showed me what a loving and respectful relationship they have built and treated me like a friend. They are selfless, hard working beings who also happen to be world travelers and food connoisseurs. (I drool over their Instagram posts and stories because of all the yummy looking food they constantly make/eat, LE SIGH).
Aviv proposed to Britney while in Tel Aviv, after he nervously took Britney “the long way” to their viewpoint destination. I laughed hearing this story, because Britney and I are alike in that we’d be so adamant about knowing the “right” way to get to the destination and totally miss the signs that a surprise was lurking in the near future. Aviv hired a photographer there and their engagement photos were SO SWEET I could cry.
The Jam Event 2019 was the first time I photographed at Dos Pueblos! That day happened to be super bright with a ton of sun shining through, and I think it’s important for couples to see the different lighting can make in final wedding galleries.
