Casino San Clemente Wedding
Heather and Trisha’s wedding inspiration was old California vibes meets moody colorful tones with a Spanish influence, and I’d say they nailed it. K. Sage Events designed every little detail, bringing in Lazy Creative Designs to hand watercolor The Casino for their invites, Siren Floral Co. for her luscious, wild + dreamy floral art and turned the space into a moody beauty of rusty orange, peaches, salmons, and soft burgundy tones.Â

Heather + Trish
I’ve gushed about Heather and Trish before in their engagement blog, but I have to say, they’re warm, kind and full of light. In their day jobs, Heather’s a teacher + Trisha’s an ER nurse; caring for people is what they do. Their whole wedding they spent all their time caring for their guests, adamant about attending cocktail hour and hanging with everyone. LOVE THAT SO MUCH.
I am always encouraging people to go to cocktail hour if they want to spend one on one time with guests. It’s the perfect mingling time since the rest of the reception is a lot of tradition and goes by SO fast.Â
To Heather it was especially important to hang out with her parents. Both were experiencing separate health issues, understandably making both parents leave the reception early. Trisha danced with her father, while Heather’s uncle stepped up to dance with her and they both burst into tears. Sitting in the painful and joyful moments of what a wedding celebration can bring.Â
I’m so sorry to say her mom passed shortly after the wedding; my heart goes out to their family and to anyone currently grieving a loss. Sending love to everyone <3
