Twin Palms Frank Sinatra Private Estate
I had to put the legendary Frank Sinatra’s former private estate as number one here, because it doesn’t get more classy than this. The residence was home to some of the most luxurious and glamorous parties of Hollywood brightest stars, so of course if you’re looking for secluded and timeless Palm Springs wedding venues, this one’s it. The Twin Palms overflows with mid-century style while also making sure to accommodate a modern crowd with new appliances and technology, PERFECT for entertaining. The piano-shaped pool (yes you heard that right) really sells the place with the mountains as the perfect backdrop for those first look photos!
O’Donnell House
Built in 1925, the O’Donnell house (formerly known as the “Eye of the Desert”) is a Mediterranean Revival-Monterey two story residence and once was the highest mountain-side home in Palm Springs. You know what that means… INSANE views. Not only do you have the gorgeous outdoor wedding venue filled with natural florals and greenery, but when your feet get tired from dancing all night, you can mosey over to the Willows Inn right next door – capable of accommodating your overnight guests. The historical significance mixed with incredible views and stunning architecture makes this one of my favorite Palm Springs wedding venues.
La Quinta Resort
Now for all my luxurious couples who want the total package… La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs quite literally has it all: Private casitas and villas, a golf club, salon & spa, fitness center, pool, shopping and plenty of food and drink options. For getting ready and first-look photos, they have secluded courtyards, and historic guest houses for all those special, intimate moments you want captured. Then a short walk away you have the sprawling lawns and the Santa Rosa mountains as your backdrop for the PERFECT ceremony location. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot some weddings here and the way the venue beautifully set the stage for their spanish inspired wedding theme had me stunned. As far as “timeless” Palm Springs wedding venues goes, this one is for the couple that wants not only a classic desert getaway weekend but also one with plenty to do and fun experiences for the whole family.
Casa Cody
Nestled in the San Jacinto mountains, the Spanish-revival style bed and breakfast, Casa Cody is the oldest operating Palm Springs wedding venue and hotel. It lends itself beautifully to the slower paced, intimate wedding couple. The luscious gardens, dual swimming pools, hot tub and historic grounds can accommodate up to 200 guests, yet still somehow feels like a desert escape from the modern world. If “timeless” is what you think of when you think “perfect Palm Springs wedding venues”, then Casa Cody will be the one that makes the clock stop and make you feel like you’re living a never ending dream.
Regardless of if you want fun experiences, time to chill by the pool, gorgeous landscapes and architecture or intimate moments…any of these timeless Palm Springs wedding venues will make you feel like the classy and chic wedding couple you are.
