Being a Palm Springs Wedding Photographer, I get the absolute pleasure of meeting people from all over the country and world and showing them how beautiful our little corner of the world is. Snowy Joshua Tree engagement sessions are rare unicorns, so I feel lucky we got to experience this day!
Ellen & Rahul
Ellen and Rahul met as undergrads at the University of Chicago, and have been doing the long-distance relationship marathon since Rahul moved back to India. They headed to California in December as a pre-wedding getaway and engagement celebration in a spot that wasn’t as cold as Chicago.
Ace Hotel Palm Springs
We started off at the hip Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Ellen and Rahul wanted to pay homage to Rahul’s Indian culture by wearing bright, beautiful patterns as one of their outfits pairings. I talk a lot about pairing colors & patterns together in my engagement planning magazine. E+R paired theirs together beautifully!
Snowy Joshua Tree
Normally us California people need to drive up a mountain to find snow. NOT THIS DAY! I’d like to think we were lucky for getting to witness how epic and beautiful Joshua Tree looks full of snow. I also commend them both for hardcore snuggling and braving the FREEZING temps.
