Gina knew she wanted something romantic and badass for their engagement photos, so a Palm Springs windmill engagement was already on the table. She had seen the 2019 Desert X exhibition photos pop up on her Instagram feed, immediately sent some snaps of this pink building over to me and confessed her vision for the shoot. Obviously I had to scour Instagram and the internet to find this incredible structure! It didn’t take too long to figure out it was from Desert X and note the GPS coordinates to get there.
Pink walls, smoke bombs and a badass leather jacket. I suggested they wear neutrals to allow the background to pop and I LOVE how it turned out.
If you couldn’t tell, we had a ton of fun, popping champagne bottles and running around the desert like kids. Gina and Mike are people who know what they want and work hard to get it. And they know how to have fun while doing so. Makes for rad times!
Can’t wait to work with Fawn Events for their desert wedding weekend next year. IT’S GONNA BE GOOD!
