Mackie and Dave sent me their inquiry with a freaking video of the proposal attached and I was instantly sold. They’re both creatives, so Dave took it upon himself to film the whole thing on his own as a keepsake of that epic moment. Mackie is from Australia + Dave from Milwaukee, but their journey as filmmakers brought them to California where they’ll continue building a sweet life together!
After chatting via email, we set a date for drinks in Temecula + laughed our way through many cocktails. “These are my people,” I thought.
Mackie + Dave are down to earth, yet classy people, so obviously Greystone Mansion was the PERFECT backdrop to run and laugh through for part one of their engagement session. Part two took place at Point Dume in Malibu, where they have had many dates together at sunset.
Their wedding is next weekend so I NEEDED to share their sweetness asap. Enjoy <333
