Buddhist Wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm
Raquel and John held an emotional Buddhist Ceremony on the cliffside, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm in Goleta. Their day continued on with a festive spirit, their friends entertaining the other guests using their wonderful gifts. At the celebration, you could experience acrobatics, juggling, tarot card readers, a live jazz band, and contortionists. It was unlike anything I’ve seen before. Diving into their wedding reception in the greenhouse, we’re first greeted by a pastel color palette with crystals, tarot cards, and sage at every table. The grand entrance led them into a circle where their wedding party blessed them with good energy. Before eating, we all gave thanks to the animals who gave their lives so we could be nourished. It was TRULY a unique experience as a photographer to watch how beautifully these two honored every person and every being that crossed their path. And MANNNNN was it ever a dance party. ELECTRO-SWING. YOU GUYS. Have you ever heard the music by High Step Society? I felt like I was taken back to the 1920’s in an elevated way. It was phenomenal, the energy this band put out into the room. If words could do more justice to this incredible wedding day, I’d write you a billion more. But instead, I’m stoked to share this good vibes only Buddhist wedding day with you all!Dream Team
