Calling all festival goers, ladies who desire non-traditional bachelorette parties with eclectic design, and anyone whose heart jumps for boho-meets-desert-meets-tropical vibes. If this is you and you’re looking to have your very own Coachella-Inspired party, keep reading ( & click play)!
When Debby of Debby Boh Designs contacted me about her Coachella-inspired bachelorette party idea, I had to jump on board. We met at The Pie Hole to pin and pine away at all the eclectic ideas being born and got to work finding the vendors who could add to the unique vibe. We set our hearts on a bright and tastefully decorated Air BnB in Palms Springs, Ca (where the amazing host, Terry, allowed us to shoot). The #bachellababes had their locks & face done up by the incredible Sara Ajdahim who traded her Vegas desert for our Palm Springs desert to be a part of this shoot!
In the end, we made magic and are even being featured on Green Wedding Shoes today! (My heart is quite literally exploding while making this announcement)! Head on over to the GWS site to see what they thought of our inspiration shoot.
Don’t forget to check out the list of all the talented people who made this shoot possible, at the end of this post!
Our inspiration shoot mixes Coachella and a Bachelorette Party, so we named it #BachellaParty and ordered “Bachella Party” Donuts from Ca Donuts. Because, what’s a coachella-inspired party without festival food (and willy wonka candy)? Also… pink gnomes for the win!
We swapped out the traditional vegas-stripper bachelorette plan for Chad, Brad.. and we honestly forgot the other two guys’ names 😉 No, but really, how cute are these little man-dolls Debby brought to the dinner table?! She’s full of unique design inspiration that you would not regret having for your next soiree.
Gorgeous, multi-colored blooms and giant banana leaves, like the ones from The Flower Story, are a must!
When it comes to Coachella, there really are no rules, except be your unique, artistic self and bring only good vibes. We brought in cow hides from Out of the Dust Rentals and colorful pillows from Sundrop Vintage for a laid-back ambiance in between pool-time.
Let’s talk about these mini-pineapple powdered donuts, made by the talented Viata Dulce. Having a few golden pineapples and some delicious donuts to match really ties in the tropical, eclectic vibes from the festival.
A little champagne official starts the party!
Be Bold, Brave, You & Wed… because that’s the blend you and your girls bring to each other’s lives, and you’re there to celebrate the bride-to-be. The Palm Tree Calligraphy cut-outs are a unique touch added to the mix by Kirsten Marie Design!
A cozy, boho henna station to celebrate art, because Coachella does.
But first, #letmetakeaselfie
Our henna artist, Chantelle of Honey Butter Lover, also happens to be a talented clothing designer and our tropical floral crown maker, seen throughout this photoshoot! This girl is on fire!
Dreamcatchers and a beautiful ode to the love being celebrated… “And his feet danced to the beat of her heart…”
Check out the gorgeous crystal & geode rings, bracelets and necklaces made by Desert Daisy Jewelry! This girl mines & shapes her own jewelry… these would make gorgeous bridesmaids gifts for your boho girlfriends. Seriously, to die for.
Another gorgeous jewel touch with the earrings made by Lindsay of Everistta. Lindsay is all about spreading good vibes; her brand has a sweet mission to donate 10% of sales for breast cancer research. <3
I had to grab a photo of these crystal hair pieces, also made by Desert Daisy Jewelry!
You don’t always need a Photo Booth to take those fun Photo-booth style photos with your girlfriends!
And now… for all the fun! Filling the pool with a giant swan-floatie, ice cream cone floaties, and colorful balloons makes the pool a little more festive.
Because swans love tropical floral crowns, too.
When you want to bring more desert to Palm Springs, you get Paper Flower Girls to whip up some paper mache beauties!
Your girlfriends will love these fun, unique, customizable floral sunglasses that came all the way from the French Riviera! Thanks so much to Bana Sunglasses for sending these all the way to California!!!
Sherbet Ice Cream & Giant Chess Pieces, need we say more?
With all the music, pool hangs, henna art, bright colors, festival food, and all around good vibes, the only way we could end this perfectly laid-back Coachella Bachelorette Party was with a dance party & bright bang!
*cue the sparklers & smoke bombs*
